I'm ready for transfer!

I've been taking my meds


Eating my pineapple


Getting shot in the butt daily


I've got my lucky bracelet


Got my nails done in fertility colors


I have my green shirt for transfer


And for after the transfer...


The clinic retrieved 23 eggs from the donor - yay!! Of those 23, 16 fertilized. I spoke to the embryology department this morning and they said the embryos were looking great! The only bad part to all of this is that the egg donor was in a ton of pain because there were so many eggs. I hope the meds they gave her helped with the pain.

The transfer is tomorrow at 1:30pm. I have to drink 32oz of water and not pee beforehand. Uh, can we say this is NOT going to be fun!! I may pee on the doctor during the procedure - haha!! I want to talk to the doctor about my shots being in the morning. I also want to talk to them about bedrest after the transfer and about limited activity. Ya know, all the things I really should have been told in the beginning :-P Oh well, I guess there is no sense in complaining now! At this point, I am just beyond thrilled that we are here. We are actually here. :-)
